My Philosophy on Mental Health Investment
"In investing, what is comfortable is rarely profitable". - Robert Arnott. This quote is important to me as I believe that mental health is JUST as important an investment as our physical and spiritual health. All of these areas of our lives require investment in order to see change or improvement. I often ask my clients how invested they are in the change that they want to see. I believe that minimal investment results in minimal returns on said investment. If you're looking for cheap, 'fast-food' psychotherapy, you won't find it at One Love Counseling LLC. But if you're willing to invest in your mental health and actively engage in the results that you want to see, you're in the right place.
Insurance
One Love Counseling accepts the following insurance types: Aetna, Cigna, United, BlueCross/ BlueShield, Meritain, Oscar/ Optum, and First Health. Your clinician will verify that your benefits are active and will notify you if you have any co-pays or deductibles. If you have insurance that we do not accept, One Love Counseling offers documentation that you can submit to your insurance provider in order to be reimbursed at their contract rate.

- Fees may be paid in cash or via debit/ credit/ HSA card (all payments made with credit/debit cards shall be assessed a $3.00 card fee). A copy of a valid credit/ debit/ HSA card must be saved on file after scheduling your initial appointment for any billing purposes (i.e.: no-shows/ cancellations without 24-hour notice).
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
At least 24-hour notice of cancellation is required if you are going to miss your appointment. Failure to notify the office 24 hours in advance will result in a cancellation fee of $120.00. Of course, we understand a true emergency and want to work with you. Should an emergency occur, please contact our office as quickly as possible. If you simply do not show up for your appointment and we receive no notification, you will be charged the cancellation fee for the appointment. Insurance will not cover these fees and you will be held personally responsible for them.
